PostSubject: Guild Philosophy   Sat Aug 16, 2008 6:39 am

I am not going to get into a 10 page explanation of guild "rules" or "conduct" since I personally feel alot of guilds are run like a dictatorship. What I do want to present is a basic philosophy for those people that have not played with us before. We are a guild of adults with peoples' ages ranging from mid 20's to early 40's. Many of our members have families and work full time jobs. When they have spare time, they want to log on and play a drama free game. If you are the type of person that is elitist, loves to stir shit, whine constantly, or be a drama queen within a guild's community....you are not welcomed here. We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to asshats. These forums are never to be used to spread your hate and discontent. They are to be used as a fun tool / source of information. We want mature, low maintenance folks to play with. If people cannot conduct themselves in a laid-back / fun manner, they will be removed quickly.

Guild titles are not taken seriously here and everyone is given officership in order to have access to the guild vault. New people, we are not familiar with, will have to wait some time before they are bumped up to officer status. I am sure we will have some valuables in the vault over time and don't want them cleaned out by a new guild member no one knew. We also do not care if you are the best player in Warhammer Online. I would rather have a guild with mediocre players with great personalities then a guild filled with talented, elitist jerkoffs. That's not to say we wont put 100% into winning a scenario or city takeover. We just won't crucify people if we have an epic fail or two along the way.

Being it is an adult guild, the language can and will get very colorful in game or on our ventrilo server. When people are given membership, they will have access to the ventrilo info via ingame or the guild chat forum. I strongly advise people with children to use headphones to avoid scarring those young minds. I would ask people to keep the "General Forums" clean. The private "Guild Chat" forums are fair game for that colorful language.

If someone joins the guild and decides to leave for whatever reason. It's ok, this is just a game and noone is going to put a curse on you. Unless of course you are an elitist, shit stirring, whiney, drama queen jerkoff Very Happy . Video games are meant to be fun and should be a way to escape the everyday stresses of life, not add to them. I hope to see you all in game.
